Mutts To Magic Grooming Agreement

Current Vaccinations/Veterinarian Information: By signing this agreement, owners verify and can provide a current to date rabies certificate.

Aggressive/Dangerous Pets: Owners MUST inform me if their pet has bitten or is aggressive. Muzzles may be used if necessary. Mutts to Magic reserves the right to refuse/stop grooming at any time before or during the grooming process and may charge an aggressive dog fee in addition to regular grooming charges.

Health Issues & Senior Pets: Mutts To Magic has the right to refuse service on your pet due to serious MEDICAL issues. If I feel as though your pet will not benefit from a groom or has known medical issues, getting your pet groomed at a veterinary office is highly suggested.

Mat Removal: Pets with matted coats need extra attention during their grooming session. Mats left in a coat will grow tighter and can irritate the skin. Mats can be very difficult to remove and often require the pet to be shaved down. Removing a heavily matted coat includes risks of nicks, cuts, or abrasions. After-effects of mat removal can include itchiness, skin redness, self-inflicted irritations or abrasions. There is a dematting fee.

Fleas: If fleas are found during the grooming process, you will be charged an additional fee to properly treat and kill the fleas.

Cancellations: Appointments canceled with less than a 24 hour notice are subject to a $50.00 fee per pet, which must be paid before scheduling any other appointments. You may also be subject to pre-paying for your pets grooming services before scheduling. I understand emergencies arise and will work with you to the best of my ability.

Parking: Mobile grooming requires a safe and adequate parking space with at least 25 feet of clearance to allow the van to turn around or back out. Due to the size of the grooming van (22 feet long), street parking is often difficult and may not be suitable. Please ensure appropriate parking is available prior to the appointment. Once grooming has begun, the van cannot be moved until the appointment is completed. Any parking tickets, violations, or towing that occur due to improper or restricted parking will be the responsibility of the pet owner.

Appointments: Since I am an “on the go” business potential time slots may vary by a few minutes. If you can not be contacted within 15 minutes of my arrival that is considered a no show which will result in a $50 cancellation fee.  Credit cards can be held on file.
